dr. George Myhal, cm
President & CEO
george served as a senior managing partner and officer of brookfield asset management inc. for 37 years and was instrumental in developing the firm's asset management business. during his tenure, brookfield's assets under management grew to almost $300 billion as the firm became a leader in real asset investing globally.
George's professional life has been spent in the financial services industry, with particular focus on investing in real assets such as property, power and infrastructure. most recently, he was the president & ceo of partners value investments inc.
currently george is a director of eurobank ergasias SA and chairman of trisura group limited. he also sits on a number of charitable boards and foundations.
George is a recipient of the order of canada and has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the university of toronto, George is an engineering graduate of the university of toronto and qualified as a CPA in 1981.
rayla myhal
vice president, corporate and social responsibility
rayla brings over 20 years of experience in the fields of marketing, sales, and customer relations. her focus is on corporate and social responsibility initiatives for windermere.
she is the president and director of the myhal family foundation and works closely with community groups and charitable organisations.
Rayla currently sits on several boards and committees.
adil mawani, cpa
chief financial officer
adil has over five years experience in the capital markets. Prior to joining Windermere, he was the Director of Finance at Partners Value Investments lp . in addition to his role at Partners, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Partners Value Split Corp., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Partners. In these roles, he was responsible for the finance, investor relations, treasury, risk management and technology functions.
adil has earned his Chartered Accountant (cpa, ca) designation, and has earned an honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfred Laurier University's School of Business and Economics.
dan myhal
vice president and CIO
Dan has over 40 years of experience in the information technology business. he started his training and career with IBM. over the years, he has aquired considerable experience in managing the IT department of mid-sized and large organizations. He is particularly knowledgeable about cyber security and cloud computing.
dan is a Professional Engineer who holds a BASc and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
